Stupid Snow

Ok so I'm up at 4:30 a.m to go to work and what do i find but a blanket of snow on the road. YE! Like i can drive in that.
So i have to gt ahold of my manager and tell him i cant make it in (no easy task). Now you might think 'Woohoo' no work and a Saturday off. But when you consider i was meant to work a 10 hour shift (as bad as that sounds) i now wont be getting paid for those 10 hours, which sucks!

New website layout now up - (although it isn't yet complete). However the manga section is up completely, the only thing i havn't yet done is a page for each manga. Though if you click on the corresponding picture for the manga you wish to read you will be taken to a manga-reading site if information available.

I will hopefully update on a daily basis till the website is fully up and running. . . . . . if anyone visits that is. If you do "Welcome. Please enjoy". If you don't then "You wont be reading this will you!".

The future of Will Life Design Website

Yes it has been many-a-moon since I last blogged but I do not care. With many changes going on in my life at the moment, I have decided to redesign my website to make it more up-to-date, user friendly and able to show a more wide variety of content. granted it will take a while longer for all the updates to go up and be completed but pictured above is a preliminary view of the new design. I hope to bring in more visitors and community.

In the future I will hope to do extra content such as video reviews of manga, anime, tv, movies, games etc. In also hope to create more amv's and mmv's. And I will also be uploading snippets of my (half begun/finished) novels.

As for the reviews for individual manga, tv shows, anime etc, they will come when they come. In the meantime I will create direct links to manga reading websites so you may enjoy them.

Please come visit and enjoy when the new website is up and running.

The end of the beginning

Well this is my last week of work. You've got the sad goodbyes, the "All the bests" and the "See you around" 's. Though the good thing is that I can now look forward to the next stage in my life and career. Though to be absolutely honest I have no idea what that is. I have no new job to go to. No idea what type of job I want to go for. Whether to go for another administration job or something different? . . . Ideas and opinions welcome.

I should post more often me thinks........

So it's been a while yet again since my last post. But there have been a few reasons:

1. I've been very lazy
2. I've been busy with work
3. I've been reading a hell of a lot of books lately
4. I've been very lazy
5. I've just sold my house and so are moving in a few weeks
6. I've been writing quite a bit (though not as much as I would like) ........ and
7. I've been very lazy .... again

Some of the books I've either been reading or have yet to get around to reading include 'The Black Tattoo', 'The Left Hand of God', 'Consider Phlebas', 'Magician', 'The Study Series (Poison Study, Magic Study, Fire Study)' and yet to read 'Storm Front (The Dresden Files)', 'Storm Glass' and 'The Desert Spear' to name the few to come to mind.
Some are better then others. The Left Hand of God, Magician and Consider Phlebas are probably my favourites out of these so far. However I also enjoyed the writing style of The Black Tattoo as it gave me the impression that the author really enjoyed himself. Though admittedly the dialogue wasn't the best I had ever seen .... There were too many 'Oh mate' lines, Very annoying and not believable.
I am now looking forward to reading The Desert Spear, the second book in the Demon Trilogy. The first book 'The Painted Man' is one of my all time favourites. If you haven't read it you must. You wont regret it. I just finished reading it for the second time last night to go straight into the second book.

Not much else going on at the moment really. OH except with One Piece. The war finally ending with both Ace and Whitebeard dying. Sad, but necessary and EPICNESS. This was followed by the appearance of Shanks who basically ended the war just by being there. Awesome.

It has been longer than I thought since my last entry but that seems to be the common thing so moving swiftly on. All I'm gonna say for now is that I've created and uploaded some videos onto You Tube.

Figures & Luffy

Ok. I work as an administrative assistant which deals with all the paperwork etc which also or mainly deals with the accounting. Today I had to go through the accounts in search of, what else, but money. Now i like my job, but i swear my brain will fry by the time I've finished what I'm doing. It's just page after page of figures that unless you know what everything represents, it looks like gobbledygook! The thing is I only started this job at the beginning of December so I've got a lot left to learn and I'm being bombarded with knowledge that i have to remember. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Oh well that's my little rant over with. I like my job none-the-less.

New chapter of One Piece yesterday with Luffy finally rescuing Ace BUT, what now!!! Ace being punched through his stomach by Akainu to save Luffy.

Is Ace going to be killed after all that's happened in order for him to be rescued? Possibly. This is Oda were talking about.
Is Whitebeard also gonna die? If anyone dies it's gonna be him so yes i think he will.
Will Luffy go berserk on Akainu and Haki blast his ass for what he's done and for all this to be broadcasted to the world? Oh hell yes that better happen!!! lol

I've also recently obtained Sony Vegas 9 (video editor) so I'll be learning that over the next few weeks. With this I hope to start creating a few amv's and other vids of my fav things. I created some a few years ago. Do you think I can find them? Well it was a few computers ago. lol

Well that's that. I think tomorrow I might blog about the top few manga i am currently reading with avid eagerness. Blog you soon! :-)

I'm Back - Not that anyone will actually read this .....Yet!

Ok so the one post a day definitely did NOT work out how i wanted. It wasn't even one post a month. BUT I'm now hoping to change that slightly. My life has now come into some kind of organised order and will be blogging every few days when available.

So a little update first. Job = Good, Life = Ok, Relationships = No Comment.

I've been writing some more of my novel the last few days and have figured out some more details and characters. If the story goes how i want it then, in hugely biased form, this novel will be amazing. Plenty of characters all with completely different personalities and objectives in life. Many fights/battles and trials to be had. And kick-ass fantasy EPICNESS!

I've also created a You Tube account specifically for this blog and website so I'll be uploading my own vids and saving my fav's etc. You can find me HERE.

On the Manga front I'd like to say a huge thanks to the guys at A-Team scanlations for their latest releases. Not only did they release Kekkaishi and The Breaker (OH Yeah!!) but amazingly the whole of Volume 21 of Ares. Please keep'em coming guys. Much appreciated.

Ok here goes. This is my first post for this Blog. I have created this blog as a diary and a record of my life. This blog is part of a website I am creating, www.willlifedesign.co.uk, which will show everything I have done in regards to Designing product, graphics, animations etc. There is also a huge list of the different Multimedia I enjoy which include Movies, TV Shows, Anime, Manga and Books. I am a huge media buff and I'll admit that my passion resides mainly with the Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Martial Arts aspects of entertainment.

My hope is that the people who visit my website will enjoy what they see and get some good recommendations for them to watch and read. It will however be quite a while until I fully complete and update my website.

Through this Blog I will be talking about daily happenings, as well as updates on the website and updates on the different projects I currently have in development. These projects include a couple of animations I'm creating (very slowly), but more importantly I am currently in the process of writing a couple of books. Though when I say a couple I actually mean about half a dozen. I just cant seem to stick to the one and continuously come up with different ideas for stories, so I end up going on to start a new one every-so-often. But they are pretty good stories even if I say so myself. Though unfortunately the actual writing isn't up to scratch yet.

Anyway that's it for my first post and I will hopefully be updating this Blog every couple of days if not daily. Blog-you-soon!
